With the New York Public Library
At StoryCorps, I partnered with the New York Public Library to create an interactive exhibit for their celebrations of America's 250th. We brought together a range New Yorker's to talk about what "America" means to them, and then we invited the public to contribute their own stories.
What does "America"
Mean to You?
These six short pieces play in a loop at the Wachenheim Gallery in the Library's main branch and have been featured individually on NYPL's social media.
We The People
Then, we created a custom storytelling kiosk and invited members of the public to sit down, share their own reflections, and archive them at the library for future generations.
Through the kiosk, we recorded thousands of stories.

Finally, for people who couldn't make it to the library, we created an at-home recording portal that allowed anyone to contribute their story and add it to the library's collection.
